Sydney Water was recognised nationally at the CSIA Australian Service Excellence Awards last week, by winning the NSW/ACT Customer Service Excellence Award for a State or Federal Government organisation.
Sydney Managing Director, Kevin Young said the award is a great achievement and provides industry wide recognition of the fantastic work that Sydney Water has been doing across the organisation to improve the customer’s experience.
“The Australian Service Excellence Awards are Australia’s highest customer service awards and winners are chosen from a field of Australia’s top and most successful customer service organisations.
“Providing excellence in customer service is core to Sydney Water’s business strategy and vital to our ongoing business success.
“Winning a national award such as this two years running is a great reflection of how the whole organisation is contributing to customer service and I am extremely proud of this recognition.”
Sydney Water was also highly commended for the national award in the Project of the Year category for its Payment Assistance Program.
